The purpose of Health Hawke’s Bay – Te Oranga Hawke’s Bay is to ensure quality, and appropriate services are provided in a culturally safe environment. We support primary and community healthcare providers in delivering timely, effective, quality services supported by a community development model.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and results focused Performance Analyst to assist Information Services in automated and bespoke reporting and analysis functions, to support the contracting outcomes framework of Health Hawke’s Bay. We have a large number of contracts on our system, and we need you to bring efficiency to the way we are able to analyse the performance of those contracts.
This is a vital role that will see you contributing to and supporting key businesses processes by maintaining and enhancing business and contracting processes within Data Warehousing and contracting systems, with a view to simplify and improve the accuracy, quality, timeliness and dissemination of information.
We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role previously, bringing solid experience in analytics and reporting, with a successful track record in translating and integrating transactional data into meaningful and well-presented reports.
The following skills and experience would be preferred:
Experience working with leading edge business visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview or equivalent
Experience working with complex and diverse data with knowledge of SQL, SAS or equivalent
Strong Microsoft Office experience, in particular Excel skills
Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Well-developed trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Proactive self-starter with ability to use initiative
Proven relationship building skills with other professionals
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a cooperative and collaborative way with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tertiary qualification preferred
