Pure Hair support and understand the actions the government are currently taking against COVID-19 and the reasoning that currently Hair Salons are unable to open. Having said that the team and I can't wait to get back to doing what we do best and being able to see our clients who have been so supportive during this time. Our group of award-winning stylists have taken the opportunity to upskill during lockdown as well as create social media content to help our clients style/ protect their hair at home.
Currently clients are able to purchase vouchers via our website purehair.co.nz and purchase products for contactless delivery through email or Facebook. Clients can book cuts and colour through our online booking system. They need to be aware our first priority will be to any clients that have booked for an earlier appointment which has not been able to go ahead due to lockdown. In short, people can book a spot in the cue but this may be need to be rescheduled.
At this stage we have been advised by the NZARH (New Zealand Association Regional Hairdressers) that salons will be able to open at Level 2. What this looks like and the protocols are still been worked through.
The expectation is that demand will be high for hair and beauty services once they are allowed. Our current booking and conversations with other salon owners around the country all indicate this. Some individuals will still have concerns around personal safety for the near future. All I can say to that is the safety of the clients / general public and or staff will be our highest priority. When the time comes Pure Hair will be open and styling Hawke's Bay as it has done for the past 12 years.
